With the help of the local sheriff's department, she struggles to discover her identity, and over time, she forms bonds and friendships with the townsfolk.

WINTER IN VEIL
is a new-adult series of novellas, about one hundred pages per book. Each novella features its own individual mystery, and the serial-killer storyline extends throughout the series as a whole. The novellas will be released one at a time, one every month, starting in January 2025 and concluding in January 2026. This format was partially inspired by Stephen King's Cycle of the Werewolf, though instead of, "Which townsperson is the werewolf?" the big question in this case is, "Which townsperson is the serial killer?"
