Hi. I'm Miles Ledoux. I grew up in upstate New York and began writing murder mystery stories when I was nine. By high school, my short stories had grown into novellas. I branched into playwriting at age sixteen and began writing screenplays in college, where I majored in Creative Writing and minored in Theatre/Directing. Following that, I went to graduate school at California State University, Northridge, and majored in Screenwriting.
In 2004, I began writing, producing, directing, and acting in murder mystery plays, sometimes for royalties, sometimes for charity events. So far I've done twelve, in New York, California, New Mexico, and Vermont. I also wrote, produced and directed a short film called "Night Owl" (see Short Film).
Currently I'm living in Springfield, VT, where I'm active in community theatre. For my day job, I'm a desk clerk at a hotel, but I'm hoping to break into writing in any way I can. To date, I've written three novels I'm willing to admit the existence of, nineteen screenplays (two of which were optioned), and over two dozen stage plays (two of which I received royalties for). I've also designed ten murder mystery party games/weekends and written various newspaper articles.
